All-round Education

We are a safe and stimulating school where students are encouraged to reach their full potential and to possess the determination and the confidence to thrive both locally and internationally. We have Christian ethos and values, and therefore strive to ensure that each pupil has a vibrant relationship with God and is inspired to achieve their God given purpose. We are founded on a commitment to moral integrity and academic excellence as shown by the excellent results of our students in international examinations. We take pride in facilitating academic excellence and sound character development. Students of all abilities flourish!

Enriched Learning Environment

High quality teaching is given at our school. Dedicated teachers – assisted by enthusiastic, genuinely caring support staff – use inspiring teaching strategies to bring learning to life. Throughout the school, we provide exciting opportunities for state-of- the-art wireless learning, have some of the very latest learning technologies, and ensure that we constantly remain up-to-date as learning evolves. We have also put in place an accelerated curriculum for our fast track or more able learners. We raise their aspirations by giving them access to higher level courses.

British Curriculum

We run the National curriculum for England leading to the IGCSE and A level certification in preparation for a competitive edge in today’s global and rapidly changing world. The IGCSE has the double advantage of being accepted in place of the Nigerian SSCE in Nigeria and is also recognized and relevant to further study anywhere abroad. In Year 11 and 12, we offer the A Level which prepares students for direct entry to University in Nigeria or anywhere in the world. In addition to these, we also do the West African Senior School Certification, WASSCE (formerly WAEC) for those who choose to.

Character Development

We are committed to a strong pastoral and moral care. This is a carefully managed program which supports all the pupils in developing well-rounded personalities, as well as meeting their academic targets. The School's aim in its pastoral policy is to give individual attention to every pupil. Close consideration is given to personal and social development, thus putting into perspective the many areas of school activity (the academic, spiritual, curricular and extra-curricular) in which each pupil participates.

Cultural Diversity

We strive to cultivate an awareness of other nations and their cultures with a respected tolerance for differences. Our school offers an unusually diverse international environment with pupils and teachers from different continents. Pupils here will learn to value the complimentary benefits of cultural diversity while being enriched themselves. Currently across the our school, we have students from a range of countries across the world, including England, Lebanon and Nigeria.

Extracurricular activities

Our extra-curricular program is one of our great strengths. We attach great importance to pupils’ involvement in clubs and societies as these provide a vital dimension to school life. Pupils are offered a range of activities to broaden personal horizons. There are many clubs and societies, including Chess, Computing, Spelling, Cookery, Debating, Soccer, Badminton, Volleyball, Music (guitar, piano, trumpet, saxophone, violin) and Bead making.

We are also committed to competitive sport, along with its ability to build character and underline the importance of fair play and teamwork. We presently have Volleyball, Lawn tennis, Basketball, Gymnastics, Soccer, Karate, Table tennis on offer and encourage every student to join in and make healthy lifestyle choices. We aim to provide an activity that each student enjoys, supported by opportunities to compete at all levels. We play friendly matches with many international schools all over the country. Our students and sports teams frequently enjoy high levels of success. School trips and participation in inter school competitions hosted by AISEN (Association of International Schools & Educators of Nigeria) are a common aspect of school life.

Boarding Facilities

Our boarding house is a multicultural & diverse facility in Apapa Lagos, welcoming both Nigerian and International students. We are a Christ centered school where daily devotions and practical Christian living is encouraged. Our dormitories are small and intimate, providing students with a warm and safe environment where they may relax, study and socialise with their housemates. We have small numbers so we can focus on individual support. Living in the boarding house helps the students to make intimate friendships and lifelong associations in a supervised environment. Here, we are a home away from home where students are nurtured to grow into responsible young adults, and thus engendering a diverse community.
